Abby 2/09

I got out my good 50mm lens last night to shoot some low light picts of the kids. Abby was jumping all over the couch as she watched her favorite movie Cinderella and I had a lot of good opportunities to catch her holding still. I love this picture because it’s so simple and focused on her eyes. You can just feel her trying to take it all in.

City Hall – Main Street U.S.A. – Walt Disney World

We were at Disney World in 2008 during Halloween and they really had the place decorated with some amazing decorations. Everything was very festive and top notch. On Main Street they had pumpkins everywhere – including the roofs as you can see here on City Hall. Most buildings in the MK are built using ‘forced perspective’ – the buildings look like they are 3 stories high, but are only 2 stories high. The first floor is actual size, the second story is 7/8 the size of the first, and the third story is 7/8 of the second story. City Hall & the Exposition Hall are both full size.
