I never knew my great grandfather because he died close to 20 years before I was even born. I did have the opportunity to know my great grandmother though and I feel blessed that she was a part of my life for so many years. Even though I never knew Mr. Woods I was very excited when my parents found these old items that his widow kept for the rest of her life. I immediately scanned them in to preserve them. I especially enjoyed holding his drivers license - complete with his signature and record of a speeding ticket on the back!
